Sarah Darling finally had her breakthrough hit last year.
Home To Me became a big hit on the charts. The song cracked into the top 40 on the country charts and even broke into the Airplay chart for getting tons of play on country radio stations everywhere.
It was a big deal for Sarah Darling who has been releasing music for years, but was never able to have a mainstream country hit.
Now she’s back again with a new single that she’s hoping keeps the momentum rolling.
Little Umbrellas – Sarah Darling
The song is a fun little summer song. It’s about getting away from the world for a while and hitting the sun and sand. You steal some time away from the world and enjoy a few umbrella drinks.
Maybe you bring some friends along or maybe you head out on your own to get away.
The song has a catchy melody and I think it’s a good move for Sarah. By this point it’s obvious she can sing and she also knows how to find great songs. She just needed that one breakthrough hit and now that she’s had it I think she has the experience to keep things going.
I hope this song does well. It’s not the best song on country radio, but it sounds like a solid hit.
