Kenny Chesney did something a little different in the last few weeks. His last single, Noise, was working its way up the charts pretty good. That was leading into a new album that would come out just as that song would be at its peak on the charts.

But then Kenny gave fans a little hint at something special that had happened as he was preparing the album. He found a new song and the opportunity to duet with rocker Pink came about.

So the push behind Noise stopped and focus turned to the new duet. The album was pushed back a bit (to when this new song is peaking) and the buzz is pretty strong.

I heard this for the first time a week or so ago on the radio. Then I kept on hearing it every time I was in the car and I don’t really drive that much these days.

The song is already shooting up the charts and looks like it’s going to be a number one song.

It’s pretty cool that Kenny was able to blend vocals and styles so well with Pink. She’s been pretty versatile in her career with different kinds of songs, but she’s mostly stayed down the rock and pop lane.

So it’s pretty cool that way.

And the song is a good one. It’s something that’s pretty familiar for Kenny. It’s about the past and in this case the love of the past and the passion that goes with it.

Really good song. Something unique and country fans are already loving it.
