Easy by Sheryl Crow

It’s no joke when an artist is able to find success for well over two decades.

Sheryl Crow has had success for a long time. I think it’s at least partly due to her ability to create and find great melodies. It’s not an easy thing at least from a listener’s stand point. It seems like some artists get away from the melody after a while and that’s really what people are looking for in songs from any genre.

Check this one out. It’s got another great melody from one of the best in the business.

Talk about a great song.

We’re coming up on summer here. At least I hope so. We still have snow in the forecast up here in Wisconsin, but I know the warm weather is coming soon. We’re all hoping.

Sheryl has always had that kind of summer feel in her songs. I would call this a simple love song in structure, but where it really shines is in the melody. It’s catchy. You feel like you know the song even as you listen to it for the very first time. It’s really good.

Sheryl is one of the best in the business. This song should be a really big hit for her on all charts.

I can see how this one is probably going to be called a little bit country. Sheryl has kind of had a partial foot in the country door for the last decade and we all welcome her because she knows how to create a great modern country song.
