Reba McEntire Christmas

One of the best.

Reba McEntire is obviously one of the greatest country artists of all time.

Last year it looks like she put out a limited release Christmas album. I don’t think I did any of the songs during last year’s holiday season. There were quite a few new holiday albums out in 2016.

But this year I don’t think there are as many. And it looks like Reba recorded a few new tracks to add to this holiday album and that this year it’s getting a full release.

So here is one of my favorites. A favorite holiday album and one that Reba does a great job with…with the help from a couple friends.

Silent Night – Reba McEntire

Great version. Kelly Clarkson starts things out. Then Trisha Yearwood jumps in to handle the next part. Then Reba finishes things up brilliantly.

What a trio and what a song.

I’ve always liked Christmas music. I love the classics. I love new versions of them. And I love new holiday songs that come out once in awhile. It’s not easy for a new song to have an impact, but once in awhile one really hits.

I don’t know that this one will, but it’s a great version nonetheless. I love the production on this one. The song really takes center stage. But the women blend their voices so well together. I think they’re singing in the background all together.

Just beautiful. What a song for the Christmas season. I love it.

CML Points: 90/100
