Anyway, I know a couple of years ago that Logan Mize was on Arista Nashville. That time must have passed after a couple of singles.
But before that Arista deal Logan was out there on his own. I think he had partnered with Big Yellow and it looks like he’s back with them for this new record.
I heard this song and it stood out. It looks like it’s just one taste from an entire new album. So be sure to check this one out and the entire album too.
Somebody To Thank – Logan Mize
This is a good song. It’s got a good groove to it. I like it. The more I listen the more I like it. That’s always one of the indicators to me if a song has potential. Obviously I’m not the only judge, but to me that’s always a nice little indicator that something could be good.
The lyrics are clever too. It’s about gratitude. We have a person looking back on all the things and all the people that got them to where they are today. Maybe they’re not as successful as they want to be yet. But they’re still grateful for where they are and how far they’ve come. Gratitude and patience. And the simple things in life.
There are a lot of positive songs coming out in country music right now. I would put this one right up there. I hope that people kind of latch on to this one. Logan is talented and country could use a few more artists like him.
