Richlove is a new band on the country scene. I hadn’t heard their new single until someone sent it my way. I have to say that I like their sound and style. It has something that’s a little fresh. It seems to fit with what’s going on in country right now.

So they have me curious about them. I don’t know much about the band. I’ll have to do more digging on their background. And if you have more info leave a comment and let us know.

Something In The Water – Richlove

It’s a song about new love. We have the narrator that doesn’t even totally realize how she fell for this person. All she can do is chalk it up to something in the water.

They’ve been spending time together. It seems to be that kind of summertime love affair. You’re out in the sun. You’re near the beach or at the pool. All the good vibes are going on. There is probably some music playing. Those songs of the summer.

And when you find a person to spend those times with it hits home. You start spending more time together and before you know things are really clicking. You kind of want to see what the next level is. You’re enjoying things now, but maybe this could turn into something big.

Anyway, that’s probably reading too much into things. The lyric is good, but the melodies are really killer on this one. It’s getting more catchy the more I listen.
