Sounds like another hit to me.
Old Dominion was able to followup their big number one hit with another big hit that reached all the way to the number two spot on the chart. This band has found a little niche of their own in country music. Fans are loving their style and their melodies. It sounds like they have another song on deck and it sounds like another good one.
Let’s check this one out and see if it’ll be the third hit in a row for this band.
Song For Another Time – Old Dominion
This one has a little sadness to it. It sounds like the girl in the song is moving away to another city. They have one more night together and they’re really not sure what to do. The background of the song is how songs can be about the changes we go through. So you have all the songs about going separate ways and things like that.
But for one more night they’re going to sing the songs about enjoying the moment and being in love and all that good stuff. They’re going to enjoy the short time they have together and tomorrow they can sing the sad songs about being apart and all the struggles that go with it.
This one has been getting some play already on The Highway. I think fans have kind of been waiting on this one for a few months and now it gets its run on the charts. I think it’s a perfect song with a perfect theme for summertime.
