Steve Holy has a new single out. It seems like Steve has a hit single every five years on the radio mixed in with a few other singles that just barely reach the charts. Still, there is no saying that Steve isn’t busy. He’s always recording and touring and it’s good to have him on the radio whenever we get the chance. This time around Steve is looking for a few smiles out in the crowd so give his new song a listen.
Hauled Off And Kissed Me – Steve Holy
Steve Holy is an interesting guy from the fan’s perspective. He has these singles that can be really emotional and powerful and then he releases songs that are just funny and fun. He’s had number one singles with both kinds of songs and this time he’s leaning toward the fun side and he pulls it off pretty well.
The song is about a guy that’s just mind his own business at the bar. He’s chilling and maybe even chatting with a girl that’s there and then out of nowhere she just hauls off and…plants a big kiss on his lips. He doesn’t mind, but things get a little out of hand from there.
If this has happened to you out at the bar consider yourself lucky. There is probably a greater chance that it would happen to Steve because he’s a country star, but you never know. It could happen to you too.
Here’s to hoping Steve has another hit on his hands. He’s been around for 13 years now and that’s one of the longest careers in the business no matter who you are.
CML Points: 75/100
I loved this song by Steve. HAULED OFF AND KISSED ME is a fun and playful song. I hope it climbs up to the Top 10, at least. It is good to have Steve’s music back.
