Florida Georgia Line have a summer song for you.
Florida Georgia Line is right on the cusp of another #1 hit with their Backstreet Boys duet.
Who would have thought that the pairing would have worked? But the more you listened to that song the more you liked it.
At least that’s how it worked for me.
Now we’re getting into the summer months. And the FGL boys are keeping things rolling with a song that should be a hit for summer lovers everywhere.
Summerland – Florida Georgia Line
It’s not a rocking summer song. We get a few of those each year. Those that make you want to get outside by a bonfire and do a little drinking and dancing. We’ve had those from FGL in the past and they’ve been great.
This one is more of the summer love variety. It’s a little laid back. It’s a little more reflective and introspective. You kind of feel like you’re sitting in an intimate situation with the person you care about. And it’s just the two of you.
The lyrics are a little familiar, but FGL puts their stamp on it. They have definitely carved their niche in country music. And it’s a big niche. People love their style and sound. And it seems that they could be making hits for at least a decade in country music.
After venturing out to the edge with their latest hit this time they come back to their familiar pocket. It should definitely be a hit with country fans. I don’t know just how big. Maybe not as big as their biggest, but definitely a hit.
