Here is the brand new single from Florida Georgia Line.
When I think about Florida Georgia Line I keep thinking back to when Brooks & Dunn came out in the early ’90s. Those guys came in with a fresh sound. They weren’t old school country. They had this in-your-face sound with the volume cranked up all the way.
And while FGL is completely different in the music they’re making they really are doing something fresh and people are buying into it like crazy just like county fans did back with B&D. Here is the second single from the new FGL album, Sun Daze.
Sun Daze – Florida Georgia Line
Older country fans probably aren’t going to like this one. It’s about chilling on a Sunday and even making time to get stoned and just kick back and relax all day. It’s brings in a little island feel, which by this time is nothing new in country world. It seems like every artist has that moment in their career where they want to channel their inner Jimmy Buffett.
But this song is fun. It’s not meant to be taken too seriously and that’s something that FGL’s fans have come to love from these guys. I think they are confident in what they’re doing. I think they’re having fun and they’re really connecting with the younger country music fans. And that’s a great thing for country music as a whole.
