Today we’re looking back on Blake Shelton’s Based On A True Story… album. The record produced a number of huge singles and kept Blake rolling with his record streak of number one hits, but there were even more songs on the album that could have been singles.
Here is my favorite.
Ten Times Crazier – Blake Shelton
It’s hard for me to get a feeling for how this one wasn’t on the radio. I’ve listened to it so many times over the last couple years that it seems like it was a hit on the radio.
I’m sure you’ve felt that way about album cuts from your favorite artists. You buy the album and fall in love with a song and for some reason it’s not released as a single. Sometimes a record can be so good that there just isn’t time for all the songs to be singles.
I kind of felt that way with Jason Aldean’s My Kinda Party record. And Blake has been doing pretty awesome on his last few records. He knows how to find those catchy melodies and that included this fun and catchy love song.
I guess he did name one of his tours the Ten Times Crazier Tour so maybe he really liked this song as well.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this Wednesday’s favorite album cut. It’s a recent one, but a great one.
