Brett Eldredge is creeping up on superstar status. I’ve been listening to the Bobby Bones podcast and more than a few guests have mentioned Brett.
Hard work ethic. Funny. Driven.
It just seems like the buzz is that he could take things to the next level. He just released his third album. The first single is a top 20 hit. I think it still has some life left on the chart, but I’m seeing a few things around the web indicating that the second single may already be on tap.
The Long Way – Brett Eldredge
Perhaps something a little different from Brett. He’s shown his uptempo romantic side. He’s shown his sense of humor. Maybe this one gets back on the same vein as Mean To Me. And that was a huge hit. This one kind of has that same style.
The sentiment here is a good one. Very romantic. It’s a guy that’s not looking for any shortcuts in a relationship. He wants to take the long way around. He wants to take time to get to know every detail about this girl that he’s falling in love with.
It seems like that is something that someone would want to hear. It’s obviously a leap of faith. To trust that the other person feels the same way you do. So here is a guy taking that leap and if she feels the same way odds are good that it will work out very well for both.
Brett is right there on the edge of superstar status. Will this be the song to push him over the edge?
