The New Black 7 Crazy

Watch out for the crazy woman chasing after these guys.

The New Black 7 is the classic example of a hard working band that gets a shot at the big time.

It’s happened before a few times in country music. You have Confederate Railroad, The Kentucky Headhunters and a few others that make it from the bars and clubs to the big stages.

This is a new song off a new mini album from the guys. It’s rocking and fun and there’s plenty to like for modern country fans.

Crazy All Over Me – The New Black 7

The name of the album is Hangovers & Heartbreaks. Stay tuned to CML because we’ll have a track by track review up soon.

That’s a really clever title for an album because those two things can certainly go together and I think the first song on the album and the first single fit well with the theme.

In this instance you have a guy that’s dealing with a woman that’s just a little too into him. She’s cramping his style and going a little…crazy. It’s not a word you want to use around something that fits the definition because you don’t know what could happen.

But this song is all in fun (unless it’s happening to you).

The guys have a great sound and it seems like they could have a chance to have a hit or two off this record. I’m sure this video will get a ton of plays on YouTube and other modern day channels. It’s the kind of catchy fun song that could have country fans singing. I’m also sure this is a huge hit in the live show.

What do you think?

CML Points: 80/100
