Canaan Smith has a catchy new single out.
Canaan Smith released a song earlier this year. I wasn’t sure if it would hit and it just cracked the top 60 at radio and didn’t really seem to have much push behind it. But I had it on my favorites playlist for awhile. It was just so catchy.
Anyway, it looks like Canaan and his team have another catchy single ready to hit the airwaves. Will this one be a hit?

This Night Back – Canaan Smith
You know, I always kind of put the Chart Estimate out there kind of thinking about Whose Line Is It Anyway? Where the rules are made up and the points don’t matter.
I really have no idea how a song will perform. Sometimes I’m surprised. Either that a song becomes a huge hit or that another song doesn’t.
I just like a good with a good melody. And it’s even better if the lyrics are good.
This one from Canaan definitely has a catchy melody. He seems to have that kind of style with his music. A little progressive and modern country style. Kind of like Florida Georgia Line a little bit. But you can tell there are some country roots in there too.
The story in this one is pretty straight ahead. A song about a couple that’s out on the town for the night. They’re looking to forget about life for a night. They’re not going to get this night back. So they might as well enjoy all of it. Living in the moment.
