Chase Rice could find himself back in the top ten with this one.
It’s been a pretty interesting career thus far for Chase Rice.
He had a hand in writing Cruise for Florida Georgia Line.
Then he had his own success and he did it in a unique way. He was independent and a song starting hitting and he signed with Columbia to release a few more singles and an album.
But earlier this year it looks like he teamed up with Broken Bow. This is the first single from that new partnership I believe. And it sounds good.
Three Cords & The Truth – Chase Rice
Part of me was wanting this to be a cover of the Sara Evans song.
But I knew that was probably too good to be true. But speaking of that Sara Evans song. That thing was stone cold country back in 1997.
Anyway, this new one from Chase is really good too. It’s a little more subdued than his party songs. Kind of a mid tempo one that’s a bit of a reflection on his life. A little past. A little present. Just a feel good song about appreciating the life you have going on.
It’s also got a little of that modern sound and production to it. A little progressive, but a lot of us like that style. And Chase has some unique vocals and a style that others really can’t pull off. It’s got an edge without being too far to the side of things.
This one sounds like a hit. I think it’s already in the top 30. It could be a runaway success.
