Here is something a little different from newcomer John King.
I don’t know what it is, but I like songs that start out with the chorus. This song kind of does that and it really pulls you in from that first sound. Not all songs can pull it off, but this one makes you keep listening.

I’ve heard this song a couple times now on the radio and it’s really been standing out among the others. It’s about a guy that is ready to have a good time. He’s looking forward to spending time with friends and family. It’s all about enjoying the night and living in the moment.
But it’s not really that kind of party song. It makes you want to kind of rock back and forth instead of really get dancing like a lot of Luke Bryan songs do. I like this groove. It’s more of a chill song, which is still great for those nights when you’re hanging out with friends.
John King seems different than other new country artists. The thing about country music right now is that there is a lot of opportunity for new artists. There really aren’t barriers to creating great music and getting it out there to fans, but the other thing that’s a challenge is getting a breakthrough.
