Top New Country Music: Jan 4th, 2016

Happy New Year!

It’s the first new chart of 2016. This is always an exciting time of year in country music. Some big artists are gearing up for new music. We should see an influx in the next several weeks with new songs from big artists and independent artists.

But for today on the chart we still have LANco dominating the top spot on the chart. It will take something really special to take them out of #1 here over the next couple of weeks.

The highest newcomer on the chart is David Fanning. It’s his third or so try with the singles and perhaps this one will break for him on the chart.

We also have a traditional country song new on the chart from Josh Ward.

And I’m really happy to see Billy Gilman on the chart. Billy has been releasing new songs this year and this one is really good and I recommend it.

So there you have the first new chart for 2016!
