Top New Country Music: Sept 14th, 2015

September 14, 2015 by Dayne Shuda 1 Comment

Here are the top new country songs on the Country Music Life Top New Country Chart for the week of September 14th, 2015.

Each week we look back at the top new country songs determined by their popularity or pageviews on Country Music Life. We look back on the last 12 weeks so each week there are a handful of songs or so that run their course and get removed from the chart.

That leaves room for newer songs to come on the chart usually at the bottom, but when fans really love a song it can show up pretty high on the charts for the first time.

An example this week is the debut of the new song from Brantley Gilbert, Stone Cold Sober, that debuts at #35. That’s a strong debut considering many of the songs above it are from July and August and have weeks to build of views.

For the third week in a row we have Old Southern Moonshine Revival at the top with, Waste Another Beer. A Thousand Horses take the #2 spot for the third week in a row as well with their second single, (This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial.

Cam moves into the top 5 with her second single, Burning House, which has been a pleasant surprise in country music the last few weeks.

Maren Morris moves up with My Church and she continues to have two songs on the chart as does Wade Bowen this week.

Are your favorites on the chart?

NO! non of these new country music songs is my favorite, I’ve never even heard of most of these songs. What happen to the old school style country music, the real ones. Like Waylon Jennings, or Hank Williams. Instead of this pop country bullsh*t!
