She’s officially in the country family now. She’s been putting out country songs for quite a few years and she’s also had huge success on the pop charts. There are a number of artists that claim she’s the best out there right now including Garth Brooks.
So it’s always good to hear new music from one of the best out there right now and Kelly has a new Christmas album out. Here is one of the biggest new songs from the set.

It always amazes me how they can come up with great new songs. Just when you think we’ve hit on every topic and melody out there we hear new interpretations and new melodies. That’s what you’re getting with this fresh sounding Christmas song.
Kelly is at her best as always. This is a big production type of song even though this is a live performance. Her voice is so strong and sure clear. There is power there that you just don’t get with other artists.
I would say this song sounds like it could be a country classic. You kind of get the feeling that it’s a big production Christmas song from one of those classic Christmas movies from the ’50s. I just watched White Christmas and this one sounds like it could have been part of that movie.
But I’m glad that Kelly is performing it now. I’m sure it’ll become one of those songs that’s played again every year during the holidays. Another great one from one of the best artists in country right now.
