It doesn’t seem that long ago when he was writing hit songs for other artists. But in the last few years he’s racked up hit after hit and is really taking things to a new level.
He just announced the plans for the new record. The first single is already a number one smash. And the second sounds like a huge hit as well.

I’ve heard that Thomas is really determined to do some cool things with his music. He seems to keep pushing the limits with things. Trying new styles. Mixing his influences and really making his own mark on country music.
That’s not easy to do. It’s difficult to be different, but he’s finding a way to become a superstar.
This song kind of has that laid back chill vibe. I don’t know if Thomas ever spent time in California, but that’s the vibe going on with this one.
The lyrics seem to be pretty autobiographical. He’s written and sung about his wife a few times before. They seem to have so much history and are still so much in love. And it comes across in this song.
It’s pretty cool. I know they must have gone through some tough times before the kids came along this last year, but it sounds like they’re stronger than ever.
And they have a daughter already and another on the way. Way cool.
