Wade Bowen has been around for a long time. He’s been releasing music on his own for years and now he’s starting to get some recognition in the mainstream world. This track is off his latest record. I don’t know if it will be a single, but I thought it was worth checking out anyway.

All That’s Left – Wade Bowen

This is another song where I can’t get the melody out of my head. From what I gather the song is about losing someone. Wade sings as the narrator in the song that has lost someone in their life. I’m not sure if she left or if she died. It’s hard to tell in some of these songs, but I don’t know that it really matters. Loss is something we all go through in life. Loss can come in different forms, but it happens to us all and it’s sad.

This melody, though, is really good. I can’t stop singing the song and I hear it even after I’ve heard the song. That’s the mark of a great song in my book and Wade has really put out a great one. His voice is unique out there in the country world right now. His entire record is really good. It’s a different take on a few common things we’ve come to recognize in life.

If Wade and his team release this one to the country radio stations I think there’s a good chance it could become his first big time hit. I’m crossing my fingers because I’d love to hear Wade Bowen on the radio more.
