Now here we have a band with something catchy that could turn into a hit.
I actually heard this one on The Highway on SiriusXM the other day. And I have to admit that it was pretty catchy. I think it was one of the first times they had played it and it sounds like people are liking it.
Waste Another Beer – Old Southern Moonshine Revival
Talk about a song that’s rocking. It’s upbeat, fun and all about having a good time.
The song is about a guy that is over this girl. He’s wasted so many things on the relationship including all his money, but he’s done with all that.
He’s not wasting the beer he has tonight. He’s going to enjoy it with his friends and get over her real good. It’s not about her anymore and he’s moving on.
The sound of this one is definitely some rock and roll and garage band type of stuff. It’s really cool and we’ve had bands like this with big hits in country before.
They kind of remind me a little bit of the Kentucky Headhunters and Confederate Railroad. And I loved those bands and I think these guys could have something similar going on. They have that singalong sound that people love live and still love to hear on radio too.
I’m thinking this song could potentially become a hit. They’re already playing on Sirius.

I have seen these guys live and they really know how to put on a show. Great tunes to listen to with anyone. Love their new song “waste another beer” and it sounds even better coming on the radio. Certainly see these guys becoming a huge success. Very refreshing to listen to.
Old Southern Moonshine Revival is one of those bands that once you discover them you can’t get enough. They have written catchy songs that are true to “real life” and inspiring. Catch them live and get hooked on them! I am glad that XM radio has them in heavy rotation and I can’t wait until the rest of the world catches up.

These guys are legit!! They have an awesome sound and their new EP is fantastic. I’ve been lucky enough to catch a few of their shows this summer and have 4-5 more planned this fall…they put on such a great live show! Can’t wait to see these guys make it big!
