Luke Bryan has a new album coming out in just over a week. It’s one of the most anticipated new albums of the year.
The first single has already been flying up the charts and Luke released another little sneak peek song recently. Fans are loving what he’s been doing and the new record will surely be a hit.
But it’s Wednesday and that means we’re going to look at a song from an album that didn’t quite make it as a single.
This one comes from Luke’s last album, Crash My Party. That album had six huge singles.

That’s pretty crazy. Not too many country albums have had that many singles. I think of one from Tim McGraw. Shania used to do that and so did the Dixie Chicks.
But it happens very rarely.
And that’s why it’s incredible to think that even with six singles there would have been more good songs and single-worthy songs on the record.
But here we have the song What Is It With You from that record. It’s a song about a guy that is kind of going crazy with this girl. He’s flirting with her and he’s lured in by her even though he knows that she is only going to drive him crazy. She’s been toying with him it seems, but for some reason he likes to chase just as much as she likes being chased.
It’s a pretty cool sounding song and the lyrics tell an interesting story about love and life that we don’t really hear all the time.
And it’s a cool live performance with the songwriters, one co-writer being Luke.
