Kenny and Grace are back again for a great new single.
Grace Potter is back with Kenny Chesney once again. Those two created something special with You And Tequila a few years ago and I think they’ve done it again with this new song.
Kenny is coming off back-to-back number ones and this one sounds like another one. Give it a listen and see what you think.
Wild Child – Kenny Chesney
Kenny is right in his pocket on this type of groove. It’s more mellow and laid back. It’s kind of reflective and leaves you thinking that you’re right there with him.
Kenny can come out with just about any kind of song, but I like when he kind of slows things down like this one. It’s a good change of pace from all the fast uptempo songs you get on the radio these days.
The song is about this guy and this girl that he really can’t get over. She’s living life her own way. She does what she wants and that’s kind of built up her wild child reputation.
The guy knows that she’s that way. He knows that it will lead to hurt sometimes, but that it will also lead to some amazing experiences. She’s a wild child, but he’s also wild about her.
Another hit from Kenny and Grace adds the perfect background harmonies. It really adds a unique layer to the song once again. I don’t know if Grace Potter is a wild child, but she brings a ghostly effect to the wild child in this song.
