These guys are really good.
A couple years ago this song showed up on Spotify. I think it was the Wild Country playlist.
It was this band from Canada on the Open Road label. And that label has had some big time names in the country scene up there in Canada. And a few, like High Valley, have crossed into the mainstream here in the States.
This band, River Town Saints, seems like they could be next. They have this great style of country pop. They find great melodies and seem to be really catching on.
They just released a new album. I’ll have to check out the full thing, but here is their latest single.

The band has released three previous singles. They’ve made a pretty good dent in the Canadian country charts with the third going into the top ten.
I’m not sure when they’ll try things in the US, but it’s gotta be soon.
This fourth single is another fun one. It has that sound that seems like it would be made for country radio. It’s upbeat and fun and just about enjoying life, meeting new people and having a good time.
These guys just have something about them. It’s a fresh sound. Somewhere in between LoCash and Florida Georgia Line.
Things that come out of Canada always seem to be really good. There have been a few big waves of artists coming to the US from there and having big success. Including a few bands. I loved Emerson Drive.
I’m curious so see what’s next for RTS.
