After what is a somewhat disappointing peak for their last single, The Wind, the Zac Brown Band is ready to move on to single number two from Uncaged. The album overall is probably the best from the band and that’s really saying something because these guys have only put out great music up to this point.

It was a little surprising to see The Wind miss the top ten on the charts because it’s a great song. It’s different and fun and interesting, but it just didn’t hit as big as some other songs. Now the guys are ready to get back to that number one spot and I think they chose a great track. Check it out.

It’s good right?

After one listen the first thing I thought of was Colder Weather. This track is somewhere not quite on the same level of that song, but it’s still really good. Colder Weather is my favorite ZBB song. It’s something about the emotion and the feeling you get when you hear that song. You don’t quite get that feeling here, but I don’t think it was meant to be the same kind of feeling.

With Goodbye In Her Eyes you hear the story of a guy that is realizing the love of his life is moving on. He’s not the one for her. It wasn’t meant to be and the guy is now in pain. Actually he’s just going through the initial stages of the realization. He’s wondering if he can change her mind and make her forget the other guy before it’s really over. This is what happens when something in our lives change and we don’t want it to. We think about how we might save it even though there is no chance.

This is a really great song. It’s hard to expect anything else from these guys. They are the best in the business right now. The music they put out is amazing and this song should be a huge hit.
